Everyone has different ways of studying. I cannot deny that.

I have my own way, so do you.

I want to tell you about my earliest story when I was in the car, along with my family; parents, sister, and brother in-law, went to salatiga.

In the middle of our general conversation, all at once (tiba-tiba), my sister ordered me to begin studying English. My brother-in-law asserted the same thing.

At first, I had no idea what to do then she suggested me joining with Global English Club (GEC) as she had ever studied with them before.

She added I should contact GEC by its social media then I did what she says.

In late 2012, I started joining with GEC, finally. I was glad and relieved for being its member at the time.

Since that day, I studied English day by day with GEC. I kept coming and participating in any event they have.

At the time, actually, I was the one who couldn’t speak English properly. I discouraged and yet I never gave up studying.

My commitment in improving English paid off as I was chosen as committee leader of Halal Bihalal & Members Reunion of GEC in 2013. That made me not only study English but also learn organization.

Because of my experiences with the committee, many people recognized myself, who I was.

The experience being committee leader doesn’t stop in the year of 2013. Surprisingly, GEC most prominent people, Mr. Hasan & Mr. Sumaryanto, has asked me to be in charge in the next term until present.

So I have been handling GEC annual event for more that five years. That’s valuable experience, I guess.

If I hadn’t join GEC I would not speak English. So I’m blessed to have such opportunity.

Now in 2020, I have already become English tutor in several institutions. I’m still humble and appreciate for those who want to learn English to reach their future goals. I don’t mind teach and spend my time with them as long as I’m available.

Thus my past experience has shaped my personal knowledge as well as English ability. Then if you’re studying one I think you can get what you one unless you give up easily. You have to be determined (tekun/ulet) and enjoy all the prosesses. Hopefully one day we can be someone that we want.
