Ambulances are getting me mad. I reside next to a new hospital and arriving ambulances can be noticed easily by their sirens. The hospital was erected a few years ago and for some reason, it aims to substitute a maternity center for a hospital. The siren in its ambulance is unusually noisy. It seems louder than the average emergency service vehicle. For those who live in the neighborhood could feel disturbed by the noise. Despite all the noise they create, no one speaks up about noise complaints.

Sirens themselves began to be used around 1913 and are among the most important features of the vehicle. With audible sirens, emergency drivers were trying to alert to their presence. They sound that way for a reason which is to keep most people out of the way. It is effective and never escapes one’s notice.

Sirens can be useful in certain situations, such as getting through a red light or stop signs, but they can be harmful to patients who can be stressed by the noise. However, the use of a siren can suffer premature hearing loss.

For maximum impact, these tones can be heard long before we see the vehicle. We might know that all ambulance sirens are loud but these ambulances have the most recognizable sirens especially if they put it in wail mode. It is way too loud.

About two years ago, the hospital desperately needed huge space for a parking lot. They had concluded to offer a large sum of money to those living close by. They started thinking to flatten our houses so that they could arrange a parking area. Eventually, most residents would not be on board with the plans. They simply will not budge. These folks and I are determined to stay.

In the matter of noise, we do not so often hear that noise. These ambulances use its sirens once in a while. Moreover, they are always using it in an emergency setting.
