Jokowi’s mother, Sujiatmi Notomiharjo, passed away yesterday at 4.45 p.m., March 25, 2020 in Dr. Moewardi General Hospital, Surakarta.

She suffered throat cancer which she had had in the past four years. She will have buried by 1 p.m. on Thursday, in March 26, 2020 in the family cemetery in Gondangrejo.
Meanwhile, the Jakarta officials should refrain to go to Surakarta as to prevent virus spreading. They ought to do their duties and pray from where they are.
It is not recommended to perform mourning at jokowi’s mother house in the hordes.

The Family

She was a bride at age 16 while her groom at age 19. The marriage resulted four children. Jokowi is the eldest son and he has three younger sisters.
The parents imparted him the values of good manners, being humble and frugal. That is the reason he possesses character of courteous as he is inherited from his parents.
