This is my diary from Sunday 4th February 2024. I am still at my sister’s home. I got here yesterday at 5.00 PM after I taught an English class with Adhev at LPK Jenggala Course.

Today I am preparing for the week’s agenda this week. There will be an additional schedule as Sony wants to resume his English class with me at my house. His schedule remains the same, which are Tuesday and Friday at 7.00 PM. He is a high school student who plans to enroll for a Police Academy in Semarang. His sister, Eno, is my student at LPK Jenggala as well. I had had her class before I had his. Their father owns an export furniture company in Kecapi, Jepara.

Today I woke up at 2.30 AM and performed voluntary prayer, as usual. I didn’t go back to sleep, I used a laptop instead.

I borrowed two books from the public library a week ago. I haven’t finished either of them. One is about ‘The Joy of not Working’, while the other is about a person’s journey abroad by Salim Darmadi.

I need to take care of my core at home, for example, cleaning the room and ironing clothes.

I have downloaded three classic novels that were published 50 years ago. A source told me that if you are going to learn about IELTS ‘you could read a classic novel’. I would do what they say.

Not only that, I downloaded e-books that are written by former US president, Barack Obama and a book about Donald Trump.
